Directions

To make delicious bread using Matthews Cotswold Eight Grain Flour, follow these simple steps:

  1. Place 700g of flour, 15g of salt, and 25g of fat or olive oil in a mixing bowl fitted with a dough hook.
  2. Dissolve 15g of fresh yeast or a packet of dried yeast in 430ml of water and add it to the bowl. Mix for 8-10 minutes on a slow speed.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Knock back the risen dough and mold it into the desired shape.
  5. Prove the dough in a warm place until the loaves double in size (approximately 1 hour).
